Villa Group Tip: Mezcal v.s Tequila
Did you know, all tequilas are mezcal’s, but not all mezcal’s are tequilas? While both tequila and mezcal are made from the harvested core of the agave plant, otherwise known as the “piña,” they are often produced in different regions of Mexico and are distilled differently, giving them each their own distinct flavors. See the chart below for a better understanding of the two delicious spirits and be sure to sample each of them the next time you vacation with us!
Our staff and many of our guests raved about these recipes, and we hope you enjoy them too. Let us know if you try them! We look forward to the time when we can reunite at our resorts and create more extraordinary memories. Until then, stay safe and have some fun at home with those who matter most!
