Member’s Cocktail Party 

Join us for our weekly Member Cocktail Party to meet fellow members, resort management, and enjoy a social event with entertainment, cocktails, and hors devours. The Member Cocktail Party schedule differs by resort (schedule below). Please be on the lookout for an invitation once you arrive at the resorts for this fun event or ask your concierge for more details.     

Member & Elite Member Cocktail Party Schedule by Resort  

• The Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta Member Cocktail parties are held Mondays from 6 pm – 7 pm at La Trattoria Restaurant. 
• The Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta Elite Member Cocktail Parties are held Thursdays from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Please see your Elite Concierge for location and details.   
• The Villa del Palmar Flamingos Nuevo Vallarta Member Cocktail parties are held Tuesdays from 5 pm – 6 pm.  
• The Villa del Palmar Flamingos Nuevo Vallarta Elite Cocktail parties are held Tuesdays from 6 pm – 7 pm.  
• The Villa Group Los Cabos Member Cocktail Parties are held Tuesdays from 5 pm – 6 pm at the Havana Lounge.   
• The Villa Group Los Cabos Elite Member Cocktail Parties are held Mondays from 5 pm – 6 pm, location varies (ask your concierge upon arrival).   
• The Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto Member Cocktail parties are held Tuesdays from 5 pm – 6 pm at the fire pit area.   
• The Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto Elite Member Cocktail parties are held Mondays from 3 pm – 4 pm at the Model Home.   
• The Villa del Palmar Cancun Member Cocktail Parties are held Mondays from 5 pm – 6 pm at the Lobby Deck.  
• The Villa del Palmar Cancun Elite Member Cocktail Parties are held Thursdays from 5 pm – 6 pm, location to be announced. Confirmation required in order to attend.  

Please note that from November thru March Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta and Villa del Palmar Flamingos have a 50/50 raffle part of the Member Cocktail Parties. This 50/50 Raffle helps raise funds to support the Eagle’s Wings Foundation.

Annual Member Social

Every year the Club hosts an Annual Member Social. This event is three days full of social events, providing members a chance to learn more about their membership, interact with key Club and Resort management, and attend exciting events such as a Grand Finale Dinner Party, Cocktail Party, and auction benefiting the Eagle’s Wings Foundation. This year’s upcoming Annual Member Social will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 thru Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Villa del Palmar Flamingos. Extend your Vacation – Hotel Inventory Rental Options

Wish to make your holiday a bit longer? Our members can easily extend their vacation if suites are available. There are two ways to do this. If you know in advance that you want to add a few nights to your reservation, you can use “Club Time,” which is additional rental nights through the resort, and pay a rental fee that is 30% to 40% off resort rental fees. If you want to extend your trip once on property, VPA & Gold Members can pay a daily rate of 1/7 of the maintenance fee for the size unit you need. Both extension options are offered year-round, however, they are based on availability.  

Preferred Points/Gold Time – Club Inventory Rental Options 

In addition to the Club Points you have purchased, during the summer months only (from May to October), Points members can use Preferred Points (up to two weeks worth of points), which are additional rental points that are available through the Club. For Gold weeks members, this additional rental time is called “Gold Time,” and is based on the total number of weeks owned. To use Preferred or Gold time, members pay a prorated maintenance fee rate. These are non-contracted points/weeks, and you only pay for what you use (minimum two-night stay.) You can vary unit sizes depending on your needs and can request up to two full weeks’ worth of points. Preferred/Gold Time is a great way to extend your vacation or bring friends and/or family with you. Preferred time is also available to deposit with an Exchange company (full week of points only.)  

Choose a Period that Suits Your Needs 

Whether you prefer to stay for a long holiday or have just a few days’ adventures, use your points as you wish. In fact, you can even split them between different resorts and types of suites. Just remember to do it within the same year. 

Bank, Borrow, or Accelerate – Do as You Please

Perhaps one of the biggest benefits of being our member is the fact you can bank your points for up to five years (biennial members – for 1 year). This is an excellent option for those who can’t use their points immediately. Just remember to bank them before the cut-off date, which is typically the end of October. Also, members are given a chance to borrow points up to five years in advance (1 year for biennial members). Likewise, it is also possible to accelerate Club Points by taking them from the back end of the contract. Your options are endless. Please note that acceleration is only applicable to certain membership types.

Pre-book spa services, fun-filled activities, special events, and make reservations for anything else you might need during your stay. Participate in the Points Redemption Program

Did you know you may use your Club Points to pay 50% of the cost for all kinds of services? Meal plans, flower arrangements, and spa services are just a few examples of what your points may be exchanged for. Before making any purchases, remember to check whether it is possible to pay with your points. 

Refer a Friend 

If your friend decides to join our club by following your referral, they won’t be the only ones getting benefits. When your loved one attends a presentation, you will receive a reward from us. Have Travel Insurance 

Did you know that your membership may also include optional travel insurance with CHUBB? Gold and VPA members include the ResortCom Basics Plan includes coverage for emergency medical transportation, repatriation of remains, return of dependent children, and transportation after stabilization when you are traveling using your Vacation Ownership account. This coverage is available when traveling 100 miles or more from your primary residence, provided you are traveling to, from, or are at one of your resorts or on an exchange. This plan also includes the 24/7 Assistance Services if you have any questions while you are traveling.
