Deposit First
This option best suits those who are certain about wanting a change from their usual vacation spot. By choosing the Deposit First option, you enjoy a wide four-year travel window, which allows you to exchange anytime from two years before to two years after the start date of your home resort week. This flexibility gives you the ability to plan and opt for different travel experiences without rushing the decision.
Request First
For those who prefer to hold onto their home resort week until an exchange is confirmed, the Request First option is ideal. This choice enables you to place a request while retaining your original week until the exchange is confirmed. You can travel from two years before the week you have offered in exchange up to the dates of that week, providing a blend of security and flexibility. If you are a points-based member, use Request First.
A Few Things to Remember
When exchanging with Interval International, please remember that only Owner Time and Preferred Time can be deposited—Club Time and points upgrades are not eligible. Once deposited, this process takes three to five business days to process, and it is a final transaction. Additional fees may apply when utilizing Interval International services. It’s also important to note that when exchanging with Interval International, your “points” are converted into “weeks” for the purpose of deposits.
