Last year, we highlighted the charities supported by EWF Puerto Vallarta. Over the next several months, we’ll showcase the incredible work being done in the Cabo community, sharing stories of impact and transformation. This month, we want to shine a light on the incredible work of three specific charities supported by the foundation: Ayudando a Mamá, Red Autismo A.C., and Amigos de los Niños A.C. Each one addresses critical needs, from maternal health to special education and childhood medical care.

Red Autismo A.C.: Championing Neurodiversity
Red Autismo A.C. is a civil association dedicated to supporting children on the autism spectrum. These include neuropediatrics, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and consultations with neuropsychologists and child psychiatrists.

The organization provides quality medical care to children up to 18 years of age who have no other means of securing their health, or whose healthcare provider is insufficient for their needs. Their team works diligently to organize outpatient medical appointments and clinics, making it possible for children to receive timely and professional care.
For special cases, especially those involving seriously ill or disabled children, Amigos de los Niños assists families in establishing the right medical treatment pathways, ensuring that no child is left behind due to inadequate resources. By taking an individualized approach and addressing the unique challenges faced by each child and their family, Amigos de los Niños A.C. plays a crucial role in improving health outcomes for vulnerable youth in the community.
