The Cabo Resorts hosts a weekly competition called “Battle of the Chefs” at Neptune restaurant in Villa del Arco. This battle is a friendly competition between six different teams of resort chefs so that they can receive feedback on culinary dishes and continue to develop new recipes for all members and guests to enjoy. The battles are open for all to watch and members will judge the contest entries. Please ask your concierge for more details as the weekly location and time may change. Congratulations to Emaniele Oliviero, featured in the chef uniform in the below photo, who won “Top Chef” for 2015!

American Grill: Open daily for breakfast. Located in Villa del Arco. Featuring a variety of flavors from South America including ceviche, marinated steak, and marinated chicken.
Bella California: Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Enjoy fresh roasted veggies, pizzas from our brick oven, and ceviche while dinning in this stunning beachfront bistro.
El Bucanero: Pirate themed restaurant onboard the ship at Villa del Arco that offers comfort food such as tacos, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. Open daily for breakfast and dinner.
El Patron: Traditional Mexican Cuisine with a contemporary twist. Open daily from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm for breakfast and 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm for dinner.
Neptune: Chef Stuart Roger combines classic French technique with casual Cabo flair to prepare local seafood in this venue situated right above Medano Beach. Open nightly.
El Tortuga Sports Bar: Relax with a cool beer, today’s game, and contemporary bar food such as burgers, chicken wings, and fries.
The Taco Bar: Indulge in authentic Mexican tacos while taking in the beauty that surrounds you in this poolside restaurant. Open daily.
Ice Cream Corner: Satisfy your ice cream craving, savor a café latte, or enjoy a decadent chocolate crepe.
Palmita Market: Just steps away from the main lobby, the Palmita Market offers everything you may need, including basic groceries, beverages, and snacks. Open daily.
Palmita Deli: Enjoy a wide variety of deli-style sandwiches, salads, homemade baguettes, coffee, and pastries made fresh daily by our own chefs.

Oh my we can’t say enough about the food @ The Villa Del Arco, every restaurant had amazing food especially the Neptune, we made sure and visited it a 2nd time, only the two of us on the outside deck overlooking the ocean, it was PERFECT. There is nothing on the menu that isn’t delicious, it was romantic and made us fall in love all over.

We do not have a separate menu for vegan options, but we do offer plenty of meat, vegetable, and side choices that are compatible with a vegan diet. Upon ordering please check with your waiter for any additional options or substitutions that may be available that are not on the menu. This is not a guarantee, but often times our chefs are able to accommodate these requests. We also have the Palmita Market and Deli on property that offers many groceries and snacks. We hope you enjoy your upcoming vacation!

As of now, there are no plans yet for Battle of the Chefs during your vacation time but it is possible that they may add a culinary event by the end of March 2016. Please ask your concierge upon arrival and/or check out our Facebook page for any updates in the next month or so regarding Battle of the Chefs.

We are heading down August 4th to 11th 2016. Is there a way so get copies of the menus with prices? How far aaway is Sam’s Club and Costco from the resort? We are planning on doing a little cooking and some eating out. Would just like to budget a little. Thank-you!

Thank you for your inquiry. The nearest Costco in Cabo is approximately 8 minutes away from the resort. Costco’s address is San José del Cabo 1659, Col Luis Donaldo Colosio, 22998 Cabo San Lucas, BC, Mexico.
The nearest Sam’s Club is approximately 25 minutes away from the resort (right next to a Walmart). Walmart’s address is Carretera Transpeninsular San Lucas – La Paz Km. 2,5, Fraccionamiento Country Club, 23463 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. Sam’s Club will not register on any map so please use the Walmart address to get you to Sam’s Club.
