Cabo San Lucas Resort Updates

Members and guests who visited the Villa Group Resorts in Los Cabos for New Years were in for a treat! Villa del Palmar Cabo hosted a New Year’s Eve Party on December 31st that rang in the New Year with a buffet, live show performed by the Activities team, dancing, midnight champagne toast, and a fireworks show.

The celebration took place by the pool at Villa del Palmar Cabo. The area was decorated with lights, ice sculptures, white table settings, and lined with food and beverages to kick off the new year!

Coming February 6-9, 2018

Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas presents Celebrity Mixology Week from February 6- 9, 2018. This event will be hosted by Celebrity Mia Mastroianni, Mia Andreoli and Nick Liberato Chefs from the Food Network along with Juan Ortega, Daniele Tatarin and Paco Oropeza, the top Mexico Mixologists. This event includes cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, gourmet food tasting, mixology classes, and more!

Tuesday, February 6 at 5 pm: Meet the Chefs Welcome Cocktail

Meet the Celebrity Mixologists and Chefs while enjoying signature cocktails during this opening event.

Price: Free for all members and guests

Wednesday, February 7 at 12 pm: Interviews, Conferences & Tasting

Learn all about the Celebrity Chefs and the history of tequila and mezcal during this tasty afternoon of events. Try some of the best tequilas in Mexico and learn the right way to taste them through the tips you will learn during these interviews, conferences, and tastings.

Price: Free for all members and guests

Wednesday, February 7 at 6:00 pm: Jalisco & Oaxaca Menu Pairing with Tequila & Mezcal

Enjoy an excellent menu at Neptune Seafood Restaurant focused on Jalisco and Oaxaca cuisines, prepared by Celebrity Chef Nick Liberato from Food Network and Chef Giulio Lupori from Bella California Restaurant. This meal will be paired with cocktails prepared by Mia Mastroianni and Mia Andreoli from “Bar Rescue.” There will also be tequila pairing by our Wine Director Victor Medina.

Price: $79 per person with the European Plan.

$29 per person with the All-Inclusive Meal Plan.

Thursday, February 8 at 12 pm: Cooking Classes

Learn how to prepare the best recipes from our guest celebrity chef Nick Liberato from Food Network and resident chef Jorge Salas from Patron Restaurant on by the pool at Villa del Arco. Celebrity Mixologists Mia Mastoianni and Mia Andreoli will be there to provide you cocktails to pair with the food you prepare.

Price: $19 per person with the European Meal Plan.

$9.50 per person with the All-Inclusive Meal Plan.

Thursday, February 8 at 4 pm: Mixology Class

Try the best cocktails with tequila and mezcal from the top mixologists from Mexico at Patron Restaurant in Villa del Arco as you learn how to craft the perfect drink.

Price: $19 per person with the European Meal Plan.

$9.50 per person with the All-Inclusive Meal Plan.

Thursday, February 8 at 6 pm: Jalisco & Oaxaca Menu Pairing with Tequila & Mezcal

Savor an excellent menu at La Casona Restaurant located in Villa la Estancia. This meal will feature Jalisco and Oaxaca cuisines and will be prepared by Celebrity Chef Nick Liberato. There will be tequila pairing by our Wine Director Victor Medina and cocktails provided by Celebrity Mixologists Mia Mastroianni, Mia Andreoli and Juan Ortega.

Friday, February 9 at noon: Cocktail Contest

Participate and be a judge of the battle of the year, where the best bartenders of Villa Group will compete with the best mixologists in Mexico using only tequila, mezcal, and condiments, to win the top mixologist award! Our Celebrity Mixologists Mia Mastroianni, Mia Andreoli and Chef Nick Liberato will be the judges. This competition will occur in Habana Lounge.

Friday, February 9 at 6 pm: Celebrity Chef & Mixology Fest Closing Party

Join us for a celebration to conclude this delicious week! Food and beverages will be prepared by celebrity chefs, celebrity mixologists, resort chefs, and the top mixologists in Mexico. There will be a live DJ so you can put on your dancing shoes or sing -a-long to your favorite tunes while delighting your taste buds! Dinner will be a buffet of Jalisco and Oaxaca cuisine paired with tequila and mezcal crafted cocktails.

Price: $59 per person with the European Meal Plan.

$19 per person with the All-Inclusive Meal Plan.

  1. I’d love to see more casual cooking classes at the resorts. I went to one on ceviche but how about sangria, agua fresca, guacamole, mole, etc.
