Congratulations to the Club and Resort Team for another successful Annual Members Meeting!
The 2019 Cancun Annual Members Meeting was a great success. Our theme was “Vive le Club” and the events replicated the mood inspired by the glamour of Paris.
We welcomed more than 100 participants this year to a meeting that offers opportunities for members to connect with their Club and resort representatives as well as catch up with old friends and new. Meeting packets and gifts are provided to each member; this year’s conference gifts were cheese boards, berets, and “dress up” scarves that corresponded to the Vive le Club theme. With two days filled to the brim with events, the members left informed, enlightened, entertained, socialized, and well fed.
The Annual Meeting itself is a business meeting designed to hold elections and present important information to the members in attendance. The meeting featured updates on membership growth, Club Finances, new computer interface and programs and services offered by the resort, the Pre-arrival programs, and Eagle’s Wings Foundation.
The Villa del Palmar Cancun staff created two outstanding parties. The first was a welcome cocktail party. Guests enjoyed a beautiful view of the ocean and Isla Mujeres as they mingled with other members and staff. The scene was complete with live music and a tower of champagne. The Grand Finale Dinner and show intrigued all attendees with beautiful themed décor, some Paris inspired acts, and a three course dinner that transformed Capricho’s into a classy getaway for all.
