The holidays are an important time of year for families and friends and provide the perfect opportunity for Club members to escape to their home away from home for an extended break. That is why the Villa Group resorts strive to make the holiday season extra magical by putting on special shows and providing the best culinary experiences. Here’s a recap of our Thanksgiving and Christmas events. If you missed the chance to celebrate with us this year, we hope you can join us next year for all of the fun festivities!
Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta
Villa del Palmar started its holiday celebrations on Thursday, November 24th with a Thanksgiving dinner that consisted of traditional turkey, sides, an open bar, show, and live music.
To kick off the Christmas season, the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony took place on December 2nd in the lobby. After the lights were ceremoniously switched on, attendees were treated to a magical show and live music.
On December 24th, kids were invited to join us at the main pool area to write their letters to Santa Claus. And on Christmas Eve, we hosted a special Christmas Eve dinner in the pool area where our guests and members enjoyed every moment of Christmas Eve. Highlights of the evening included a delicious Christmas buffet, an open bar, theme show, and live music.
The magic continued into Christmas Day where kids got to witness Santa Claus’ arrival on the beach and received a special treat. In the evening, members and guests were treated to a Christmas Show & Dinner around the pool. The buffet dinner featured seasonal favorites with a Mexican twist and entertainment including music and live performances.
Villa del Palmar Flamingos
Members and guests staying at Villa del Palmar Flamingos over the holidays enjoyed participating in an incredible selection of activities and festive events.
On Thanksgiving day, members and guests enjoyed a sumptuous BBQ & Turkey buffet dinner with an open bar at El Patrón Restaurant, a live band, and show performance.
Our members and guests who opted to spend the most wonderful time of the year at Villa del Palmar Flamingos helped us kick off the Christmas season at our ceremonial tree lighting that took place in the lobby on December 1st.
The celebrations continued on December 19th at our Mexican Posada held at Huichol Plaza that featured a Mexican buffet dinner, open bar, Mexican show, mariachi band, and piñatas.
On Christmas Eve, El Patrón restaurant hosted an outstanding holiday event including a 4-course meal, national open bar, and live music.
Christmas Day was full of magical moments and in the evening, we hosted a festive dinner at Huichol Plaza featuring a traditional Christmas buffet dinner with an open bar, plus a Christmas show and live music.
Villa del Palmar Cabo
Guests who celebrated the holiday season at Villa del Palmar Cabo experienced plenty of fun starting with Thanksgiving dinner on November 24th. Tomatillos, Terraza Tortugas, and Bella California Restaurant each put on holiday-themed dinners with classics such as turkey and pumpkin pie.
On Christmas Eve, members and guests watched the magic unfold at Terraza Tortugas with the stunning Winter Wonderland Show and Christmas dinner buffet featuring traditional favorites. Members and guests also had the option of choosing from a three-course set menu at Tomatillos or Bella California Restaurant.
Villa del Arco Cabo
Members and guests staying at Villa del Arco Cabo reveled in holiday cheer starting with our Thanksgiving dinner held at El Patrón Restaurant that consisted of a buffet dinner of decadent dishes like turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes, and butternut squash.
Early December, we kicked off the Christmas season at our ceremonial tree lighting that took place in the lobby.
Our chefs take Christmas very seriously and that’s why we offered members and guests the option of feasting on a scrumptious Merry Christmas dinner buffet at El Patrón Restaurant on Christmas Day or delighting in an alchemy of merry flavors with a four-course dinner at Neptune Restaurant.
Villa La Valencia Los Cabos
Guests staying at the Villa Group’s newest property, Villa La Valencia Los Cabos, enjoyed splendid moments of relaxation by the sea and gleeful culinary experiences.
For Thanksgiving, Villa La Valencia had a Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet at La Taberna and El Patron.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, La Taberna served a special set menu with multiple courses and El Patrón offered a sensational buffet dinner featuring a variety of seasonal dishes.
Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto
Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto celebrated Thanksgiving with a morning hike, culinary classes, and the choice of a buffet-style Thanksgiving dinner and show at Starlight Terrace or a five-course meal and live music at Danzante.
The resort started off the Christmas season on December 4th with the sparkle of Christmas lights. The tree lighting ceremony took place in the lobby and was followed by an evening of music, Christmas carols, and a special ”Nutcracker” dance performance.
The magical Islands of Loreto provided the ideal Christmas getaway and shined even brighter during the holiday season. Christmas Eve was a cheerful celebration filled with Mexican traditions. The evening started with a buffet-style holiday meal at the Market Restaurant followed by an exciting Christmas show and the breaking of piñatas and plenty of other surprises.
Christmas Day started with a delicious breakfast buffet followed by a visit from Santa Claus and a full day of activities and games for kids. The celebrations continued into the evening and guests were treated to a dazzling feast. Members and guests indulged in an array of Christmas flavors and had the option of choosing a five-course menu at Danzante or an impressive buffet dinner with turkey and all the trimmings and a holly jolly Christmas show at the Starlight Terrace.
Villa del Palmar Cancun
The holiday fun at Villa del Palmar Cancun commenced on November 24th with a special Thanksgiving dinner buffet at Caprichos.
On December 6th, we switched the dazzling lights of our Christmas tree on and the resort was full of that Christmassy vibe.
Christmas Eve was an evening to remember and Caprichos Restaurant did not disappoint. The celebratory buffet dinner included Mexican and international specialties that wowed the taste buds of all our guests.
On Christmas Day, kids gathered on the beach to welcome the grand arrival of Santa Claus and the little ones had a great time participating in plenty of Christmas-themed activities at the Kids’ Club.
