Danzante Golf Course: Takes players through a variety of settings, including valleys, arroyos, foothills and dunes, with holes featuring stunning views of the Sea of Cortez, the majestic Sierra de la Giganta mountain range, the Danzante Bay and the surrounding Islands of Loréto. Open daily from 7:00 am-5:00 pm. Twilight rounds begin at 2:00 pm.
Sabila Spa: Tantalize your senses with a variety of traditional and modern treatments such as aromatherapy, body scrubs, and massages that will leave you feeling completely relaxed. Open Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Bartending, Wine Tasting, and Tequila Tasting events: Learn how to make signature drinks and perfect your own mixology so you can share your talents with family and friends.
Aqua Aerobics, Paddle boarding, Snorkeling, Kayaking, and Hooka: A great way to experience an adrenaline rush while exploring the surrounding beauty near and on the resort.

Have been there twice and the second time was certainly as nice at the first. Outstanding staff that attends to your every need. Pool side attendants are so accommodating they will bring your favorite beverage almost before you can ask. The food might be the only issue and that is only because there simply isn’t the array of cuisines you would hope. However, the food you do get is outstanding especially the catch of the day. So good we ordered it 3 times during our stay. The bay is calm so kayaking and paddle boarding are always available. The sea life is simply amazing, Hawaii has nothing on this place. It might just call for a third straight vacation stop next year.

We booked Villa del Palmar Loreto before it opened. Upon arrival found out resort was behind in opening schedule. Spent the week at the hotel with the staff, Carlos, and Chef , Made day trips to the resort to enjoy the beach and barbecues..
Since our first initial trip to Loreto, we have returned every year to Villa del Palmar Loreto. It is our favorite property of the Villa Group.
Will be returning in October for another stay this year..

We were just at the Villa del Palmar Loreto (8-3 to 8-13) and had the best time. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff (Carlos, Christian, Candelaria, Manny, to name a few) were so attentive and thoughtful. My dad passed away in May and once the staff found out, they were so gracious with my mom. When is it the best time to come there to enjoy the diving clarity and so forth

Thank you for your inquiry.
There is year-round diving in the Sea of Cortez off Baja Sur, but the best time is late June to early November. In September and October, the seas are flat and the water is around 85 degrees. Many divers get 3 mm wetsuits during these seasons.
In winter, surface water temperatures drop to 65 to 70F, so you’ll need a 5mm or 6mm full wetsuit. You have a higher chance of seeing whales during the winter months.
