We have events and activities at all of our resorts that are great for people of all ages. During these activities, members will be able to sample, enjoy, and learn how to prepare delicious Latin inspired meals, cocktails, and other treats. Activities in the Vallarta region for Villa del Palmar Flamingos and Puerto Vallarta consists of cooking classes typically held at El Patron Restaurant. One of the most popular courses is the “Guacamole Making” class. In this course, one of our professional chefs will show you the best tips, tricks, and secrets to making delicious and fresh guacamole. The class is free for all guests to attend if they have purchased an All-Inclusive Meal Plan. If you like what you sample, you are invited to come inside to enjoy a full meal. The “Guacamole Making” class is 3:00 pm every Thursday. Another course at El Patron is the “Ceviche Making” class. Members get the opportunity to prepare and taste flavorful ceviche dishes. The sessions are held every Tuesday at 3:00 pm. On Friday’s at 3:00 pm, El Patron hosts a “Paella Making and Wine” course. Guests are invited to enjoy wine and sample the delicious Mexican dish known as Paella. During the presentation, professional chefs show each guest how to prepare different varieties of the dish.
Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is now offering guests a new and delicious way to stay cool while they vacation. Their Smoothie Bar is now available for all members, and it is conveniently located right on the beach. It is open from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm daily. Later in the evening, we invite you to join us at the Danzante Lounge for Whisky, Tequila, and Tabaco night. Listen to live music, dance, and enjoy some of the best spirits and cigars. This activity is held Sunday through Friday, from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm. You won’t want to miss it!
While staying at Villa del Palmar Cancun be sure to take part in our free tequila tasting event which is held every Monday afternoons in front of the Zama Restaurant. This activity is hosted by our Zama Restaurant chefs and resort personnel. This tasty event gives you the opportunity to drink, mingle, and engage with other members.
Are you interested in taking cooking lessons? Have you ever wanted to learn the tricks of the trade from a qualified chef? Then join us at Davino, Zamá, Caprichos or Hiroshi Restaurant in Cancun for one of our fun cooking classes. Throughout the week you can learn how to prepare cuisine from different cultures and styles: Monday is Italian, Wednesday is Mexican, Thursday is baking, and Saturday is Japanese.
Our resorts in Cabo also provide guests with food and beverage fun. Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas and Villa del Arco offer the “Gastronomic Tour.” This activity is available every Wednesday and begins in the lobby at Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas at 6:00 pm. During this tour, we take guests to visit each of the magnificent restaurants at our Villa Group resorts in Cabo San Lucas. The restaurants in the tour are currently Neptune, El Patron, South American Grill, La Casona, Bella California, El Carbon, and Tomatillos. You will be able to sample delicious cocktails while our professional chefs conduct food demonstrations and prepare specialized culinary dishes for everyone to enjoy. In addition to this event, the Traditional Mexican Fiesta held in Cabo provides guests with the opportunity to experience Hispanic music, food, and culture. This event is every Monday and held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and includes a delicious Mexican inspired buffet.
