Renovation Dates: August 15 – October 9, 2025
What’s Being Renovated:
- All pools, spas, and surrounding decking
- Carbone Restaurant
- Bella California Restaurant
The resort will be temporarily closed during these dates to complete major renovations. This decision was made to ensure the comfort, safety, and long-term enjoyment of all members.
What You Need to Know:
- Impact on Bookings: Affected members have been contacted and rebooked at sister resorts in Cabo. These resorts offer comparable accommodations.
- Why the Closure: Renovation work affects key common areas. For everyone’s safety and to maintain quality standards, a full closure was necessary.
- No Overbooking: Resorts will only accept guests with active reservations. No walk-ins or exceeding capacity will be allowed.
Member Support:
- Members who prefer not to travel during this time may cancel their trip without penalty.
- Members also have priority access to rebook their vacation outside the renovation dates.
For Members Staying at Villa del Arco:
The Member’s Cocktail Party will occur once per week.
**Some services at Villa del Palmar Cabo will remain open, including:
- Palmita Market
- Deli
- Tomatillos Restaurant
- Tennis and Pickleball Courts
- Theme Night Shows three times a week
Bella and the Pizza Bar will reopen by Thanksgiving, not October 9th. In the meantime, pizza lovers can still enjoy pizza at the Sports Bar.

We are unable to travel at any other time than August 30 through September 6. We are members and have a reservation at Arco. We usually do the all inclusive, but feel now we will have a 50% reduced option with Palmar’s closure during that time. Would The Villa Group considering allowing the Estancia restaurants be included in all inclusive for memeber during Palmar’s closure? Thank you.

Are the rooms at Villa del Palmar Cabo being renovated as well?

At this time, no. The renovations planned are only for the restaurants and pool area.

Are all the pools going to be available to children? Is the kiddie pool being redone? Because if children are from 6-14 there really isn’t any pool for them to enjoy. The upper pool has been for adults only and the pool down below, most of the area has been taken up by volleyball, so it doesn’t leave much room for kids of that age to just swim around.
Thank you so much for sharing your questions and concerns with us. We completely understand how important it is for families with children of all ages to feel they have spaces to enjoy and relax.
To clarify, the upper pool will remain adults-only, while the activity pool will continue to be available and is being expanded to create more space for everyone. Volleyball and other activities are only held at scheduled times, so outside of those times the pool will be open for swimming and family enjoyment.
We’re also excited to share that a new water fountain area for younger children is being designed, similar to the one at Arco, which will be a wonderful addition for families.
Your feedback regarding children between 6–14 years old is truly valuable, and we’ll be sure to share it with our team as we work to enhance the experience for all of our members and guests.

Interval International is still booking for Villa Del Palmar during that time frame. What happens if you have a reservation during that time and have not been contacted by Interval?

This notice should have been fwd. prior to August12th. I was looking fwd. to a quiet Vacation with my wife but now see the Arco will be full. Do all inclusive guest get any additional benefits. Are any plans to compensate those who booked a long time ago and can’t cancel as plans are already completed. This is not sitting well with me and my Wife.
