Redevelopment is expected to last 24-36 months. The Del Mar building has already been emptied. Please look out for updates related to the dates and redevelopment plans to come in the near future.
There will be no waivers for Maintenance Fees during this time. However, there will be promotions and various other opportunities for members to receive great value during this redevelopment period. Please be on the lookout for these emails sent by the Club. Considerations for member comfort is always top of mind, to ensure all members have an extraordinary stay experience.

If the renovations start, there will be a number of rooms no longer available to the owners. That means more demand than supply for accommodation. The last time I was at Villa del Palmar, you were still selling memberships to the Villa Group. I am not impressed with this imbalance as there will come a time when no rooms are available to most members.

Will work continue on the Villa del Mar side or is everything postponed until May 2025 including del Mar? Will Villa del Mar be demolished resulting in construction noise between now and May 2025?

The Villa del Mar side will be zoned off and work on this side will occur during this time (between now and May 2025) and it will be gradual. The actual demolition of Villa del Mar is not scheduled to occur until April or May of 2025 so noise prior to this time will be minimal. We LOVE the Villa del Palmar PV! Before we left last February, we booked our 3 week stay for next February 2025 and we cannot wait. We had heard the Sports Bar and the “quiet pool” were closed and that did make me a little sad. Can you tell me if they will reopen with the renovation schedule change? The Sports Bar and pool at Villa del Mar is closed. The whole Villa del Mar side is blocked off (no one can go on that side) as it is being prepped for work and it is not scheduled to reopen. Please be advised that all of this information is subject to change.

My membership is limited to the summer months (May thru October). Given that construction starts in May 2025, will I be given the option to book time before May (e.g., March and April)?

I want to get to VdP Puerto Vallarta before the renovations begin, but when I try to make a reservation, everything is “UNAVAILABLE” to members. If I click on “Cash Booking”, suddenly everything opens up. This is how your treat your members?? I am really unhappy!
