The 2023 Annual Member Social took place from November 7-9, 2023, at the stunning Villa del Palmar Flamingos. It was a fun celebration of glamour, elegance, and pure delight. This year’s theme, “Gather Memories Like Flowers,” aimed to highlight the importance of creating unforgettable vacation moments. UVC International organizes this event annually, offering members a unique opportunity to connect with the Club Team, resort staff, and other fellow members, while also gaining valuable insights into their membership benefits.
During the event, attendees had the chance to stay updated on resort developments, meet new staff members, learn about ongoing projects, and engage with Club representatives and other members. During this year’s event, we dedicated a day to Eagle’s Wings Foundation, offering our members a chance to delve deeper into the foundation’s mission. They had the opportunity to participate in a bus tour that visited two EWF-supported charities, a Down Syndrome facility and a food bank, learn more about the 30+ local organizations supported by the Eagle’s Wings in the Vallarta region during a meaningful luncheon and grant ceremony presentation, and participate in a charitable auction dinner aimed at raising funds for educational scholarships for the children of the Villa Group’s wonderful employees. Eagle’s Wings Day was a resounding success and raised more than $55,000 – which will be matched by the Developer for a total of more than $110,000!
The following day, known as “Member Day,” was devoted to providing comprehensive Club information through a series of presentations, roundtable discussions, and engaging social events, allowing for informative networking opportunities amongst members and staff. To conclude the festivities, all members were treated to a grand finale dinner party, adorned with vibrant flowers, colorful decorations, and a festive ambiance showcasing the flower theme. The evening featured delicious food, refreshing drinks, and lively music that got everyone dancing. It was a truly enjoyable and social experience for all.
Looking ahead, we invite you to mark your calendars for the next Annual Member Social, scheduled to take place from November 12-14, 2024, at a location that will be announced soon.
