The 2024 Annual Member Social took place from November 13-14,2024, at the stunning Villa del Palmar Flamingos. This year’s theme was “Seas the Day,” which was a play on words of the classic empowerment slogan “Seize the Day” that celebrates the wonderful sea adjacent to our beautiful resorts. We welcomed approximately 225 members to this special occasion. Each year, we (UVCI) host this event, providing members with a unique opportunity to connect with the Club Team, resort staff, and fellow members. It also offers valuable insights into their membership benefits.
At the event, attendees had the opportunity to stay informed about resort developments, meet new staff, learn about ongoing projects, and connect with Club representatives and fellow members. During this year’s event, we dedicated a day to Eagle’s Wings Foundation, offering our members a chance to delve deeper into the foundation’s mission. They had the opportunity to participate in a bus tour that visited two EWF-supported charities, an orphanage and a rehab facility, to learn more about the 30+ local organizations supported by the Eagle’s Wings Foundation in the Vallarta region during a meaningful luncheon and grant ceremony presentation, and participate in a charitable auction dinner aimed at raising funds for educational scholarships for the children of the Villa Group’s wonderful employees. Eagle’s Wings Day was a resounding success and raised more than $65,000 – which will be matched by the Developer for a total of more than $130,000!
The following day, known as “Member Day,” was devoted to providing comprehensive Club information through a series of presentations, roundtable discussions, and engaging social events, allowing for informative networking opportunities amongst members and staff. To conclude the festivities, a grand finale dinner party was held for all members, beautifully adorned with sailor-themed decorations that highlighted the nautical ambiance. The evening offered delectable food, refreshing drinks, and lively music that encouraged everyone to dance. It was a genuinely delightful and social experience for all.
