Exciting Property Enhancements at The Villa Group Resorts 

Exciting property enhancements are coming to many of our Villa Group Resorts—Villa del Palmar Cabo, Villa del Arco, Villa La Valencia, Villa del Palmar Flamingos, and Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta. Keep reading to learn about the upcoming changes, including lobby makeovers and new elevators, aimed at making your stay more enjoyable and memorable. Stay tuned to learn how these improvements will elevate your experience! 

Villa del Palmar Cabo 

Effective August, the main building housing the lobby and the Sports Bar, will undergo enhancements for approximately three months. Upon arrival, members and guests will be directed to either Building 1 or Building 3 for check-in, where temporary lobbies are already set up to ensure a smooth check-in process.  

The Sports Bar is set to receive an exciting overhaul over the next ten weeks, featuring a new bar setup and upgraded TV installations. During this time, the Sports Bar will be closed. 

Tortugas Terrace will also undergo enhancements starting around September, which will include the addition of a new stage and coverings for a more comfortable environment. The Tortugas Terrace enhancement will take approximately thirteen weeks to complete. During this transition, the Tortugas Terrace will be closed, and shows will take place at the Desert Lounge by the fire pit instead. 

Finally, the pool areas will be resurfaced in stages, but rest assured, the pool will remain open. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing an even better experience at Villa del Palmar Cabo! 

Villa del Arco 

Alongside the ongoing elevator upgrades, a maintenance project for El Bucanero restaurant is scheduled to begin on August 12 and continue until September 30, 2024. During this period, El Bucanero’s dining services will be relocated to the terrace of El Patron, operating daily from 12 pm to 5 pm. Please be advised that the pool area around El Bucanero will be closed while these enhancements are occurring, and that all poolside lounge chairs and umbrellas located around the boat and on the sides will not be available during this time. Enhancements will take place daily from 9 am to 5 pm, with a medium-low noise level expected. 

Villa La Valencia 

We are thrilled to announce that Villa La Valencia will be resurfacing the pool deck from now until approximately the end of September 2024. During this time, the infinity pool will be closed for enhancements, and Corralle will also be unavailable. Instead, lunch will be served at Latitud 23.5 Steak House. This improvement is designed to enhance both the safety and aesthetics of our pool area, creating a more enjoyable experience for all members and guests.

Effective August 1, 2024, Latitud 23.5 Steak House will implement new hours of operation to better serve our valued members and guests. A la carte dinner service and bar will now be open from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm, allowing you to enjoy an exquisite dining experience with a diverse selection of dishes and fine beverages.  

Villa del Palmar Flamingos 

The terrace at El Patron restaurant is currently being updated to elevate the overall dining experience. During this time, El Patron’s operating hours will remain the same (open daily for breakfast from 7 am to 11 am, lunch from 12 pm to 5 pm, and dinner from 6 pm to 10:30 pm). Once this enhancement is completed, the terrace will offer additional seating options, enabling members and guests to savor their meals amidst the beautiful surroundings. Furthermore, the interior of the restaurant has already undergone enhancements to create a more inviting atmosphere, featuring updated décor and an improved layout.  

In addition to the restaurant makeover, we’re also installing new elevators at Villa del Palmar Flamingos that will be completed by the end of the year (2024) and will offer faster elevator service, reducing wait times and ensuring you can move around the resort with ease. 

Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta 

As of this week, we are excited to announce that Palmita Express is now officially open. Located on the street side of the resort, Palmita Express offers extended hours and a wide range of delicious options. 

Palmita Express operates from 8 am to 9 pm, Monday through Sunday, providing you with more flexibility and convenience. Here, you can purchase water, soft drinks, alcohol, quick snacks (such as chips and cookies), and some pharmacy items. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack or travel essentials like sunscreen, the Palmita Express has you covered. 

Additionally, the Deli will continue to operate as usual from 8 am to 4 pm, offering the same food menu as before. This ensures that you have ample dining options throughout the day.

  2. What is being done to upgrade the internet capacity and speed? I would like to extend travel and but need to be able to do some work and that isn’t possible today..

  3. We would like to know if the actual work on new buildings have even started in VDP puerto Vallarta. We were there and all the talk was were closing some buildings da and re doing high rise hotel in the area. Is this happening ? Has it even been started ? We want to book for winter, we just don’t want to stay in a construction zone.

      Some renovations have begun. The Del Mar side is where most of the updates are occurring first/now. We will provide another update just on Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta over the next month to all members. Stay tuned!

I am staying at my timeshare @ Villa Del Palmar in Jalisco Nov 23 to Nov 30th in a 2bdrm ….then thru Hotels.com I purchased addl 2 more nights in 1 bdrm for Nov 30th and Dec 1st 2024 ckg out Dec 2nd…I sent a message thru Hotels.com to send to VDP please do not move us to a different unit but instead we ll just give up the studio portion of the 2bdrm……I had no idea VDP was going under construction at time I booked the 2bdrm in Nov 2023……it was only when I recently booked the xtra 2nts thru Hotels.com did I get any notification of construction…..Now I m concerned we are going to have issues w staying the week and the addl 2nts staying in same unit…..my husband has disabilities so I can NOT be moving around to different hotels or rooms ……I definitely do not want to stay at Villa Del Mar next door nor Flamingos or any other hotel..( I don T like Nuevas area)…..I only want the one I booked…..its a family reunion all staying in jalisco area…..We have stayed at this hotel many many times ….I m very familiar with the bldg Layouts……Please let me know this is possible as I don t want to have issues when I get to hotel…….plus I need to know in Nov if any of the facilites pools,rstrnts etc are scheduled to be closed ??? Please advise….thank you

  5. We would like to book several weeks in Loreto this upcoming January – February, 2025 and were wondering if Loreto is an All Inclusive or if we can do our own thing. If all inclusive, how much per day / week per person and what does it include?
    We are long standing Villa Gold members and our home resort is Flamingos.
