Cancun COVID Update

As of 12/6/2020, Cancun region in Quintana Roo has a total of 349 active confirmed cases.

When arriving to the airport, many visitors fill out the required health screening forms and the immigration and customs procedures are consistent to what you have expected in prior visits. Masks are always required for your flight and to be worn throughout the airport and customs.

Non-essential activity is opened and being conducted. Masks are always encouraged  when interacting with others who are not members of the same household, in public or private spaces, except when eating, drinking and swimming. The public beaches of northern Quintana Roo, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Holbox, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Puerto Morelos, and Tulum, are open at 60% of their capacity. Also the hotels of the northern region of Quintana Roo, golf courses, tourist sites, and theme parks. Bars, nightclubs, and discos remain closed. 

Within the areas, businesses are operating following the guidelines placed by their local government. These guidelines could include standards on social distancing, masks mandates, along with a certain number of patrons allowed at any time.

Transportation has been a hot point for members. All members can select which transportation option is suitable for them. Private transportation to/from the resorts in Puerto Vallarta and Rivera Nayarit is available for members at any time by contacting member services to pre-book your arrival and departure shuttles.
