EWF’s mission is to provide financial assistance to charitable groups in the neighboring areas of Villa Group Resorts to “give back” to the communities that have provided wonderful memories in our “Homes Away From Home.”
Bus for Gymnastic Program – For several years EWF has supported free gymnastics classes for orphaned children that offer physical, psychological and emotional benefits to the children by increasing their fitness, helping them make friends and contributing to self-esteem. With EWF’s purchase of a school bus, which was combined with donations from Villa Group and the government, the program may expand to include roughly 400 public school children. Many thanks to Eva Contreras Gonzalez, EWF President, and Fernando Montiel, independent vehicle dealer, for volunteering their time and concerted efforts to make this dream come true!

Toy Drive – Recently April Eagle’s Wings Foundation celebrated “Children’s Day” by spreading toys, games, candy, dolls and most important, joyful smiles, at this year’s Toy Drive. EWF joined efforts with the leading resorts in the area including Villa Group, Four Seasons, Marriott and many others to distribute more than 3,000 toys to the neediest children in Puerto Vallarta’s most vulnerable areas. Dozens of entrepreneurs, families and volunteers supported this altruistic which was covered live by Carolina Gómez Aguinaga, News Director of the radio station “La Patrona.” This event was a great demonstration of the effectiveness of cooperation and working together for a good cause. EWF and the many other groups that put this event together achieved a great thing that day by making each one of these thousands of needy children feel special. What a happy day it was!
