Dear Member,
Holidays are a time that can be emotional for many. Often, they can be sad, stressful, or joyous, and of course, they sometimes can even be all three. This year has been a challenging year for the clubs and our members on several fronts due to COVID-19. I can certainly relate to our members’ range of emotions as this year dwindles to completion.
Over the past several months, I have been able to reflect on 2020. With this reflection, one thing comes to mind: resiliency. Defined as the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness. If this year has taught us something, it is that many of us embody resiliency; from our members, developers, staff, and everyone who plays a role in delivering the joyful vacations you deserve. Here at UVC International, we are so fortunate to have our members and the privilege to serve you is right where we find our joy.
As our members continue to travel and resume their vacations in Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Loreto, and Cancun, the daily feedback and engagement has been well received and much appreciated. Members continue to engage in conversations around their comfort while visiting us, their travel experiences, and their gratitude to be finding their joy during an otherwise challenging time.
Our thoughts go out to those impacted by the challenges of this year. As we press into the holiday, our wish for you and your families this holiday season is finding joy in whatever it is that makes you happy. We hope that your joy is found visiting Mexico.
Remember putting your feet in the sand, enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine, or just slowing down to enjoy the paradise that your membership creates for you. All of us here at UVC International wish you and your loved ones the very best this holiday season.
Happy Holidays,
Nicholas Larez
Vice President, UVC International
