Resort Activities in the Vallarta Region

Our resorts all feature a daily activities program that is sure to make you smile during your next vacation. Read along for a few activities that are sure to delight you during your next Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit vacation.

Villa del Palmar Flamingos

Every Monday evening from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm there is a Mexican Fiesta that includes a full Mexican buffet, an open bar, and a traditional Mexican dance show featuring dances from the Chiapas, Nayarit, and Jalisco. The Mexican Fiesta has games and a Mariachi band to compliment the lively performance. The Mexican Fiesta is free for members and guests that have purchased the all-inclusive meal plan and $575 pesos for members and guests who do not have a meal plan. Bond with your friends and family while enjoying dinner and cultural entertainment.

Zumba: Learn to dance by participating in Zumba class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 pm-4:45 pm. These classes are led by Abraham and Maria, two professional Zumba instructors from the Activities team at the resort, who are sure to teach you a new dance move! Reservations are required and can be made at the towel center by the pool. Zumba is a free activity.

Paddle boarding: Learn to paddle board from an experienced activity instructor every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. For those wishing to paddle board on their own, paddle boards are available to rent for free for one hour at the Water Sports Center located on the beach outside of the resort between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm daily. Reservations are not required for the paddle boarding class or rental.

Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta

Guacamole Class: Learn how to make guacamole every Thursday at 3:00 pm at the Activities Desk. Let our chef teach you how to pick and prepare the freshest ingredients so that you can return home and wow your friends and family with your new culinary skills. Reservations with your concierge are required for this activity. Cost is $85 pesos per person and includes your choice of a margarita or soft drink.

Kitchen Tour: See how your favorite foods are prepared by getting a behind the scenes tour of two of the resort’s restaurants; restaurants toured change regularly. This tour concludes on the terrace of El Patron where all participants can enjoy a free slice of pizza and soft drink. This tour occurs once per week. Reservations with your concierge are required.

Mexican Fiesta: Every Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm there is a Mexican Fiesta that includes a full Mexican buffet, an open bar, and a traditional Mexican dance show featuring dances from different states in Mexico. The Mexican Fiesta has games and a live band and is the perfect setting to spend time with your friends and family. This fiesta is free for members and guests that have purchased the all-inclusive meal plan and $499 pesos for members and guests who do not have a meal plan. Enjoy a cultural depiction of Mexico that is sure to make you want to get out of your seat and dance!
