-The Loréto Dorado International Fishing Tournament will take place from July 9-11. It is the most important international Dorado fishing contest in Mexico, hosting thousands of contestants from all over the globe to compete for the Dorado trophy.
August:
If it’s speed that you like come to The off Road Loreto 400, an off road rally in the desert through Comondú, San Javier and rural communities of the Giganta Sierra. It is part of the Off Road Unido U-Pro Championship, which is affiliated with the top off roader racers in the world. Get your adrenaline fix by watching these dare devils speed through the classic desert setting while testing the limits of speed and safety. Dates have not been announced yet. September:
September offers tourists the chance to be a part of the Loréto Virgin Celebrations, which are a series of civil, religious, and cultural celebrations that honor the town’s virgin. These celebrations occur September 6-8 in downtown Baja. Peregrinations [voyages through the town] and traditional Mexican culture dances honor the town’s virgin while a street market is set up for people to enjoy traditional Mexican food and buy crafts, such as jewelry.
