Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta and Villa del Palmar Flamingos hosted Treasures of Mexico, a celebration of Mexican culture, this past September. Read a full recap of the event below.
Members and guests learned how to cook while participating in Ceviche and Guacamole Making Classes offered weekly at both resorts. Participants learned how to make delicious margaritas in Mixology Margarita Classes with an array of tequila and authentic mixers. In addition, Villa del Palmar Flamingos hosted Margarita Races by the pool so members and guests could blend their own margarita while riding a bike.
In the evenings, the resorts hosted Mexican buffet dinners with folklore performances, showcasing the history of Mexico through dance. Beach parties with dance lessons featuring Mambo, Cumbia and Salsa were held every week. A grand celebration of Mexican Independence was held on Friday, September 15th with a live mariachi band, folklore dancers, fireworks, local handcrafts, Mexican buffet, tequila tasting, and an open bar.
Mexican bingo, flower making, and face painting were fun activities all ages enjoyed. Here are a few photos of these activities.
In addition to these fun activities, Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta and Villa del Palmar Flamingos featured a Mexican Pizza Menu, Corn Quesadilla Corner and a Taco Bar all month long. It was a delicious treat for all.
