The next months are going to be busy at our Villa Group Resorts. As summer is slowly approaching an end, autumn and the holiday season are coming closer and closer. If you are thinking about booking a holiday stay, this is the best time to do it since we’ve planned so many fun and exciting events you don’t want to miss. Below you will find a summary of everything that is coming.
August
Summer can’t be imagined without fresh fruits. After all – there is nothing better than lying by the pool or the ocean and getting a bite of colorful berries or juicy tropical fruits. In Mexico, August is the time when mangos are in season, so we’re celebrating with a Mango fest! The culinary festival will take place from August 5th thru 13th at Villa La Valencia. 
At Villa del Palmar Cabo and Villa del Arco, experience the Baja Med Fest. From August 23rd-26th, the resorts’ Executive Chefs Roberto Silva, Giulio Lupori, and Chef Patron Remberto Rubio will showcase an exclusive four-course menu with fresh Mediterranean and Baja ingredients.
On August 26th, Villa del Palmar Flamingos will host a pairing dinner with Casa El Cielo Winery. Come empty-stomached – you will want to enjoy the six-course menu paired with kosher wines! 
September
September is a special month for the country – September 16th, join us in celebrating the Independence Day of Mexico. At many of our resorts, enjoy a Mexican buffet, listen to mariachi music, and admire folkloric dance shows to celebrate the special day. Some of our resorts may even begin their festivities a day earlier [on the 15th], so don’t miss the fun! 
Another exciting event you should put on your calendar is the Mexican Journey Festival at Villa La Valencia. From September 14th to 21st, learn more about the cuisine of selected Mexican towns and taste the local flavors.
After all the celebrations, Villa del Palmar Flamingos will host a Wellness Weekend from September 17-18th at Plaza Huichol with various wellness activities put on by the Tatewari Spa.
During the entire month of September, come experience Mexican cuisine, culture, and traditions with us during the Taste of Mexico event. Taste of Mexico will occur at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta, Villa del Palmar Flamingos, Villa La Estancia Riviera Nayarit, Villa del Palmar Cabo, and Villa La Valencia. For members and guests on the all-inclusive plan, this event will be included and features various buffets, parties, theme nights, special activities, cooking classes, interactive games, and more to celebrate the traditions of Mexico.
October
Come to Mexico and get in the mood for the spooky season! On October 31st, we invite you to participate in Halloween celebrations. International buffets, accompanied by live rock bands, open bars, and costume contests, all await fans of Halloween. 
November
At all of our resorts, learn more about Mexican culture by experiencing Dia de Los Muertos (“Day of the Dead”). On November 1st and 2nd, satisfy your inner foodie at Mexican buffets, admire altars with sugar skulls and take Instagram-worthy pictures of the traditional decorations to celebrate these special days that celebrate those who have passed away. Who knows – perhaps Dia de Los Muertos will become your new favorite holiday? 
In November, we’ve also planned a Wellness Lifestyle Week at Villa La Valencia. From the 18th to 26th, experience the pillars of wellbeing. Take the chance to focus on your sleeping and eating habits and improve your overall wellbeing.
Did you know that Thanksgiving is common in Mexico, too? So, if you are planning your vacation in November, you can acknowledge the special day along with your loved ones in one of our resorts. Festive buffets with live performances are planned at all Villa Group Resorts and are a fun way to celebrate gratitude during the holiday season. 
Furthermore, for Thanksgiving, you will find specially curated menus in many our restaurants. When you are in such a beautiful place like Mexico, it is easy to find reasons for being thankful.
December
Once December arrives, it is time to prepare for the holiday season! At Villa Group Resorts, we’ve got many events in store for you, starting with the beginning of December! At all of our resorts, take your little ones by the hand and experience the magic of a Christmas Tree Lighting, usually hosted in the lobby of the resort.
Mid-month, many of our resorts will host a traditional Mexican Posada, which is a tradition that re-enacts the pilgrimage of Mary and Joseph. During this event, you’ll get to introduce your taste buds to a Mexican buffet, enjoy the perks of an open bar, try Mexican Punch, and experience the magic of traditional pastorela, piñatas, and mariachi; this is simply the best way to ring in the holiday season. 
In Mexico, you may not get a white Christmas, but that won’t make the celebrations any less special. Regardless of whether you are vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Cabo, Cancun, or the Islands of Loreto, you can join in on the Christmas festivities.
At our resorts, we’ve planned special Christmas Eve menus for dinners. It is no secret an important part of the holiday is great food, so we’ve designed a special menu for our members and guests. Together with live music and the festive atmosphere, you are guaranteed to have a wonderful Christmas! But the fun doesn’t end here! On Christmas Day, join one of the many festive activities available. From the arrival of Santa to a fantastic buffet and exciting Christmas show – there is something for everyone. 
Once Christmas has passed, it is time to celebrate New Year’s Eve. There isn’t a more perfect place to say goodbye to 2022 and hello to 2023 than one of our resorts. You’ll have access to everything needed for a proper celebration – live music, entertainment, and, of course, a bar.
After all the celebrating, the next morning can be tough. That is why we’ve many of our resorts have set up a special New Year’s Day Brunch menu so you can start off the new year with a delicious meal.
