Here are a few popular wellness activities offered at The Sabila Spa

  1. Water Healing Treatment
  2. 11

Let go and float effortlessly in the hydrotherapy pool as the water healing therapist glides you gracefully through the water, applying artful stretches and luxurious massages. As you allow yourself to relax and surrender to the support of the water and free movement, the body unwinds releasing holding patterns inviting healing on the mental and emotional planes. Profoundly relaxing and nurturing this therapy recalls the safety, timelessness and   peacefulness of the womb.

  3. Sun Salutation
  4. 12

Morning ritual meditation with the sound of the shell and offering copal smoke, we call the healing spirits of the 7 directions. We offer songs to the keepers of each direction and ask for blessings for the day. In traditional Mexican healing, blessings and rituals are believed to cleanse ”the three bodies” which are spiritual, physical and mental by purifying ones energies and making offering to the major elements water, earth, fire, wind and the complete existence as sacred path.

  1. Brittany,

We have wanted to travel to the resort at Loreto for a while now to take advantage of the diving. I’ve seen you post in the past that AeroCalifafia has flights from SJD but when I use their website I am never able to find any; flights from the U.S. Midwest triple in price to route thru L.A. If my option is to drive I will probably stay at del Palmar or del Arco for one or two nights coming and going. Can you tell me the approximate drive time to Loreto from Cabo?

    1. Hi J.R,

Thank you for commenting on our blog. I am happy to hear you want to visit the Islands of Loreto!

To drive to the Islands of Loreto from Cabo is about 355 miles (6 hours). For more information on renting a car or taking a bus there, please click here.

If you need further assistance with finding flights, please speak with an agent at 800-852-4755.

      Hope this helps!

  2. Your hot tub on the deck makes me want to come back. And the above comment about airline service out of LA reminds me. As of last October when we were there, you said there would be air service out of Tijuana by this past June. Fly to San Diego, cross the border in a special terminal ramp, and catch a plane. Any results the can be reported? Thanks.

    1. Hi Mike,

Happy you want to return to the beautiful Islands of Loreto!

The Cross Border Xpress (CBX) is now open in San Diego, CA. Drive or take a taxi, bus, or shuttle to CBX. Short-term and long-term parking is available if you drive. Purchase and print a CBX pass that will let you walk five minutes over the CBX skywalk from San Diego to the Tijuana Airport. For more information or to purchase your CBX Tickets in advance please click here. In order to cross the skywalk everyone must show attendant proof of airline ticket departing from Tijuana Airport. Once in Tijuana, you can take direct flights with Aero Calafia to Loreto.

      Hope this information helps!

      Best Regards,
      Brittany
